Chair yoga is a form of yoga practiced while sitting in the chair. Chair yoga not only enhances our sensitivity but also gives strength and steadiness for our body, mind and soul. Chair yoga also instills a touch of steadfast calm. Furthermore, you can practice it during your daily activities. Yoga can be practiced while sitting in a chair or lying in bed. Chair yoga is a good place to start. With a few seated and poses, it will increase the oxygen and blood circulation.
Start doing yoga today. Chair yoga is good for a beginner. The keys are stretching and breathing. Chair yoga is suitable for everyone, all ages and for people with limited mobility. If you want to practice chair yoga, join a chair yoga class. Almost all chair yoga poses can be adapted into your daily routine. If you cannot find any yoga classes in your neighborhood, buy a yoga DVD and follow the step.

First, start your chair yoga by breathing. While you are at the office, chair yoga can even be done. Just remember that you have to balance your poses. Balancing is the key ingredient in yoga. For example, you must move a forward bend if you want to do a back bend. Make sure your chair is sturdy. Alternatively, just use the regular chair works, do not buy a special chair. If you have a sturdy four-legged chair, which is comfortable, then it is just fine. The chair will help balancing your body as you move. Just do it slowly and do not push yourself to try difficult positions. It will cause injuries and strains. Each person has their own limit. On your first time, you may find that some poses are hard to do. Be patient, after a few practices, you will notice it become easier. However, if there are some poses that you think impossible for you to do, ask the trainer for alternate poses. Practicing chair yoga with your friends would be more fun. Alternatively, make it as a weekly program at your office, before going home. Remember, you must practicing chair yoga at least once a week and do it continuously.
