Physical education teacher Sandy Drummond has made Yoga a part of Gladstone Secondary School’s curriculum. Sandy completed her Yoga Teacher Certification at Semperviva Yoga College in Vancouver.

The Bikram Yoga Experiment is a 90 day challenge for me to do the Yoga at least 5 days a week. This day, I chose to set up in a far away corner so that nobody would have to worry about being in my shot. It just happened to be in the hottest spot I’ve ever been in. A girl at the counter told me after class that the “room was hot today”, like what did that mean? At the end of this class, I was so dehydrated that my face felt like a lemon. I couldn’t even smile.

Aurora is a great “calling out” teacher. If you want specific immediate feedback, Aurora will call you out and she will tell you what’s wrong, and also what’s right. She’s great with names and if she doesn’t know your name, she won’t hesitate to identify you some other way.

Katie has her own blog called “Juicy!” and she is a health food freak! I like it. Oh and she is a Bikram Yoga instructor… she helped me get into some twists I’ve never achieved. Sweet chick!

Victoria is a Bikram Yoga Instructor in Vancouver. She walks around the room while she teaches. She walks past me and it’s easier for her to get my attention if I’m doing something wrong. She must have walked past me three times and each time it was a quick comment and immediately I knew she was talking about me… Booyah! Thanks Victoria.
