Is Pilate’s and Yoga good to get in shape with?

So,I really don’t have a lot of time on my hands because I have a daughter
so going to a gym isn’t possible and now with school getting over with but I’ve seen Pilate’s and Yoga kits and dvds in fitness stores
Im not looking to lose any weight just to tone up and maybe even gain back some weight
would they be worth the money and how much time would it take up to do
are they better to do one or switch both around how often if yes

I didn’t mean my daughters the reason why I don’t go.
it’ll be to boring to a 5year old
and unfair to drag her with daily

yes yoga works for toning but its not very quick. you can do them as much as you want but at least once a week is normal, or better about 30/20mins every day.
